Professional Scope

All editorial services are provided through Park Avenue Press as independent professional support. Our editors focus on strengthening your manuscript through feedback, comments, and recommendations. Final creative and publishing decisions remain entirely with the author.

Payment & Confirmation

Each project is individually quoted based on total word count, complexity, and the level of edit requested. All payments are processed securely through Park Avenue Press. A booking is considered confirmed once payment has been received.

Refunds & Cancellations

If you cancel within 24 hours of payment, you will receive a full refund. After editorial work has begun, refunds are only issued for uncompleted portions of work and are at Park Avenue Press’s discretion.

Timeline & Revisions

Editors will deliver the agreed-upon materials (notes or edited manuscripts) by the mutually established deadline. One brief round of follow-up questions is included; additional revisions may be billed separately.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts and related materials are treated as confidential and are used solely for the purpose of providing editorial services. Files are stored securely and deleted upon request after project completion.

Non-Circumvention

By booking an editor through Park Avenue Press, you agree not to hire, contact, or pay that editor directly for any additional work outside of this platform for twelve (12) months from your most recent engagement. All future projects with that editor must be booked and paid through Park Avenue Press.

Communication

All official communication regarding scheduling, pricing, and project management must occur through Park Avenue Press email accounts or our scheduling platform to ensure transparency and record-keeping.

Liability

Park Avenue Press and its editors are not responsible for publishing outcomes, sales performance, or third-party use of edited material. Editorial feedback is advisory.
